Kaitlin’s blog is a fun and unpretentious description of her trip to Crete in April 2009.
Kaitlin left England and flew to Athens and then to Crete, Heraklion, the capital of the island.
She arrived amidst the celebration for the Greek Orthodox Easter, therefore she decided to participate in the celebrations like a true local.
Kaitlin describes vividly how she and her girl-friends explored the area and got to know the beauties of Crete, the famous Greek cuisine and the beautiful beaches of the island.
It is a nice post about the easiness of navigating through such a well organized island, as Crete, especially in a relatively low tourist season, when tourists have the whole towns to themselves.
